Our Returns Policy

If you are not completely happy with any full priced Sparrow & Finch purchase, we will happily issue a store credit if the item is returned within 45 business days of recieving the item. We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

 

Please note that all SALE purchases are final. There is no exchange or return on SALE items.

If you wish to return an item, please contact us at ask@sparrowandfinchboutique.com.au and quote your order number and reason for return. Once we have replied please post to the address advised within 45 business days.

For orders shipped within Australia, items must be returned within 45 days of receiving the items, with communication made 7 days after receiving the item,

For orders shipped outside Australia, items must be returned within 60 days of receiving the items.

Outside of the above timeframe, Sparrow & Finch reserve the right to refuse refunds.

Conditions:

  • We offer a store credit for a change of mind or incorrect sizing, if the garment is not damaged.
  • ‘Damage’ may include the present of any make-up, fake tan, or other marks as well as the presence of the smell of cosmetics, perfume, deodorant, washing powder or other product and odours on the garment.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, with all tags and original packaging intact.
  • Return shipping is to be covered and paid for by the customer. We do not refund or add credit for cost of return postage.

Exchanges:

  • To avoid the disappointment of missing out on your desired item we do not offer exchanges. We recommend purchasing your desired item immediately and sending your original item for a refund or store credit. 
  • If you opt for the credit voucher option, note that we cannot guanrantee that your desired style/size will be avaliable. 
  • A refund is not permitted on the item purchased via a previously issued Credit Note.

 

Wrong Size or Change of Mind:

Subject to compliance with the above timeframes for returns, we will offer a store credit for a change of mind or for incorrect sizing if:

  • The garment has not been worn, altered and/or washed and is in pristine condition so that it can be re-sold.
  • The garment has not been damaged whilst in the customer's possession or during delivery.
  • The customer has proof of the garment purchase.
  • The original labels and swing tags are attached to garment.

Note: ‘damage’ may include the presence of any fake tan, make up or other marks and the presence of the smell of cosmetics, perfume, deodorant, washing powder or other product and odours on the garment.

 

 

Submitting a Return:

  • Please print out the below Returns Form and submit with your return - Sparrow & Finch Returns Form.
  • If you do not have access to a printer, simply write your name, your order number and reason for return on a piece of paper. 
  • Once approved, send the item(s) to the below address:

Credit Notes:

  • Credit notes do not expire.
  • Credit notes will not cover shipping costs.
  • Sparrow & Finch reserves the rights to refuse the return if the item does not meet the conditions. The items will then be sent back to the sender.
  • We do not accept responsibility for items that are lost or damaged by your courier when being returned. We recommend you keep a copy of your couriers tracking number for your follow-up.
  • We aim to process your return and send your credit note within 3 business days of receiving and inspecting your returned item.
  • We ask for your patience once it has arrived at the PO box, all returns will be taken to the warehouse during our weekly pick up and processed there.
  • A refund is not permitted on the item purchased via a previously issued credit note.

 

A Faulty Item:

  • A faulty item claim must be made within 3 days of receiving the goods. For faulty garments, please email your contact details, invoice details, tracking information along with photos of the fault to ask@sparrowandfinchboutique.com.au.
  • Sparrow & Finch will aim to respond to your email within 3 business days.
  • If a fault does not amount to major failure in the garment, we are entitled to elect between providing you with a repair, replacement or other remedy.
  • Faulty return postage costs will be covered by Sparrow & Finch Boutique. 
  • Should you seek compensation, you must provide documentary evidence of the alleged loss or damage suffered by reason of the fault or by reason of any failure of Sparrow & Finch to comply with a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law. The above policy is consistent with consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
